There are so many things to do and the amusement park is excellent. We were due to travel later in July 2020, but our flights from the uk were cancelled. We stayed in the lodge tents were are super cool, the kids loved it.
The family campsite, situated between the dunes and the amusement park, is Duinrell’s origin. I would recommend it to people as it is a fun place if you like theme parks and water slides, but it's not somewhere I would return to year on year. Full refund wouldn't have been available if we wanted to cancel completely, but then I would have claimed on my travel insurance. I’m appalled at how they are treating their customers. Staying at the campsite offers relaxation and adventure; you can either go for a walk in the beautiful dunes and forest or visit the amusement park.
Location was only a few minutes walk to the theme park and Tiki Pool. Leuk dat je er bent! You have to pre-book your slot and it costs 6 Euro per person if you have booked through Eurocamp. It was also within a 10 minute walk of the village and a 10 minute drive to a really nice beach. We stayed at Duinrell for a week in Aug / Sept via Eurocamp. In the summer season from April until October, the family campsite is opened daily. During your holiday you will enjoy the charm of camping on our family campsite and you have unlimited access to Duinrell's attractions.

Camping guests always have free unlimited access to the amusement park and outdoor pool area of water park Tiki Pool for the complete duration of their stay. We found a couple of children crying, searching for parents because the animation team had just left them. I think if you book direct you may get it free.

We ended up going twice and thought it was fab! The boys played football for example, and the team just sat on the side, talking and ignoring the game. When activities did run, the team again were very lacklustre and seemed as though they didn’t really want to run them.
There wasn’t any form of refereeing or score keeping, it was like an hour just to sit and chat for the team involved with this particular game. So, what are you waiting for?
