I must say, I had the same urge when Jiminy Cricket started to sing in the movie. The old Geppetto threatened him on the street and grabbed his nose that was growing uncontrollably and because of that Geppetto ended up in prison. But everyone learns from his mistakes. If you want your child to learn through play, this isn't your book. It is short stories yet they suck you in and move on in such a way as to not be bogged down in the moral lessons.
